Admittance Policies

POLLACK CINEMAS

ADMITTANCE POLICIES AND PROCEDURES

Pollack Cinemas (“PC”) wants all of its customers to enjoy their visit to its cinema. To help insure this, admission to PC is subject to the following terms and conditions. By purchasing or using a PC ticket, customers agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

GENERAL
No shoes, no shirts, no admission. All customers are required to wear appropriate attire within the premises.

Only customers in possession of a valid ticket will be admitted into the theatre to which the ticket relates and admission will be permitted only for the duration of the performance specified by the ticket. At the time of collection, customers should check that the ticket’s details are correct as tickets will not be exchanged or refunded in the event of an error.

No outside food or drink may be brought onto the premises. Only food and drink purchased on the premises may be consumed on the premises.

Lost, stolen or damaged tickets will not be replaced. Any customer who does not hold a valid ticket may be required to leave the premises.

Customers should keep the ticket stubs with them at all times in order to re-enter the relevant theatre.

PC reserves the right to refuse entry into PC for any reason. PC will refuse entry of any person who is believed to be intoxicated or under the influence of an illegal substance and may require any person who is believed to be intoxicated or under the influence of an illegal substance to leave the premises immediately without entitlement of any refund.

No customer is allowed to bring any alcohol, illegal substance or weapon of any kind onto the premises. Anyone found in possession of such items will be refused entry or will be required to leave the premises immediately without entitlement of any refund. PC takes such matters very seriously and may report any incident to the police.

PC reserves the right to require customers who are disruptive, antisocial or violent to leave the theatre immediately without entitlement of any refund.

 

OVERSIZED BAGS/ BACKPACKS
Oversized bags/backpacks are not permitted on the premises. Backpacks, packages and bags of any kind are subject to inspection prior to admission. We acknowledge that this procedure may cause some inconvenience and it is not flawless, but we hope any problem is minor in comparison to increased safety.

PERSONAL COMMUNICATION DEVICES
In consideration of all our guests, PC asks that you please refrain from using all mobile devices, including mobile phones, tablets and other personal communication devices while in the theatres.

MASKS
No mask or facial makeup that obscures the ability to identify a person is permitted to be worn in the cinema.

NO SMOKING
PC is a smoke-free environment. There is no smoking, including electronic cigarettes or “vaping”, permitted anywhere in the premises. This policy is strictly enforced and violation of this policy is grounds for ejection from the premises immediately without entitlement of any refund.

HANDOUTS/LEAFLETS/VENDING
The distribution of promotional items, flyers, handbills or other printed materials is not permitted without express written permission of PC. In addition, vending, peddling or product sampling is expressly prohibited.

LOST ITEMS
PC is not responsible for lost, stolen or recovered personal items. Before leaving the theatre please check around your seat for any personal belongings. For assistance, contact a staff member.

LOST CHILDREN
If you become separated from your child while at the cinema, please see the nearest usher, security officer or other staff member for assistance.

NO SOLICITATION
Solicitation or loitering on the premises in not allowed.

FILM THEFT/PIRACY
No recording or copying equipment (including cameras, video recorders, sound recorders, etc.) are permitted to be used within the theatres. Recording or copying equipment used within the theatres may be confiscated for inspection and Customers are reminded that it is a serious criminal offense to copy or attempt to copy any film, soundtrack or other copyright protected material shown in the cinema and PC may report any incident to the police.

WATER FOUNTAINS
Water fountains are located in the cinema lobby area.


Pollack Cinemas is happy to welcome you back to the theater. Nothing is more important to us than the safety and comfort of our guests and employees therefore the following protocols are in place:

  • We ask that if you have experienced any symptoms of Covid-19 in the days prior to your visit that you refrain from entering the theater. 
  • Pollack Cinemas employees may be subject to daily health screenings.
  • Guests and staff will be required to adhere to applicable requirements and guidelines for the use of face coverings.
  • Masks will not be required unless mandated by state and local guidelines.  Where masks are mandated, they can be removed only while eating and drinking while seated in an auditorium.  The CDC continues to recommend masks and social distancing for unvaccinated people.
  • Plexiglass partitions may be used at box office and concession stand.
  • You can now purchase your tickets online.  Cash and credit/debit cards will still be accepted, but we encourage you to use our mobile app or lobby kiosks.
  • All seating will now be 100% reserved.
  • A reduced menu offering will be temporarily available.
  • When refilling large soft drinks or popcorns, we will exchange your prior cup or bag for a new container.
  • Frequent touch points will be cleaned and sanitized by staff members throughout the day.
  • Show times will be spaced farther apart to facilitate enhanced cleaning of auditoriums between shows.
  • Professional nightly cleaning will include additional sanitizing measures. 
  • Pollack Cinemas will continue to work closely with the relevant authorities to follow safety measures and adjust them in accordance with CDC guidelines and state and local county mandates.
